Bled - An absolute dream 😍
We've had 5 nights in Bled which was most definitely a good decision, as its just been the most fantastic few days. I don't have loads to say just thousands of pictures so I'll try to narrow them down here. One day we had a good walk, doing the Bled Round Trail, it takes you up and down the hills surrounding the lake giving exceptional views but also taking you away from the busy areas.

The walk took us a lot longer than expected, due to the heat, and me trying to photograph butterflies with no successful result. We did manage to catch some other creatures such as a lot of Yellow Bellied Toads in the one muddy puddle that existed, and a tiny grass snake slithering out from a rock in a stream. On another day I also finally managed to snap a European Green Lizard which we'd kept missing as they zoomed away.
One morning we got up at 4am to get around to the other side of the lake for sunrise. We were using Bled's equivalent to the 'Boris bike' to get around and the one I unlocked a 5am in the morning was the one with the loudest squeak! It was worth it though to watch the sun appear over the lake and mountains and a lovely time for a quiet swim.
